The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Mike Dempsey, Apollo Wright, and Steve Wylie as newly appointed members of our Board of Directors.
Mike Dempsey is the Managing Director at LignoTech Florida. He graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Chemical Engineering before receiving his MBA from the University of Nebraska. Mike is looking forward to attracting potential employees to Nassau County and hopes to broaden the diversity of new businesses in our community.
Apollo Wright is the Publisher for the Amelia/Yulee Neighbors magazine. He was the quarterback at Cheyney University where he graduated with a degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies. He later received a master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Wagner College and went on to coach college football at various institutions including Florida International University and The University of New Mexico. Apollo is looking forward to bringing the Nassau County business community together and continuing his community service efforts.
Steve Wylie is the Associate Vice President of Planning & Business Development at UF Health. He received his Bachelor of Science & Finance from the University of South Carolina and has been with UF Health since 2017. Steve is passionate about furthering the interests of small businesses in Nassau County and looks forward to working on their behalf during his time on the Board of Directors.
