Upcoming CSX Railroad Closures in Nassau County

Nassau County, Florida, October 17, 2025 - On behalf of CSX, the Nassau County Road Department is issuing a Notice of Intent to Begin Construction on the following railroad crossing due to repairs needed. Crossing will be closed between 3 to 6 days, except one way in/out crossings, varying on repairs needed.

  • Old Kay Town Road (Private) in Bryceville, FL – November 17 at 8:00 am to November 18 at 8:00 am, one way in and out
  • Church Avenue (Private) in Bryceville, FL – November 18 at 8:00 am to November 19 at 8:00 am one way in and out
  • CR119 in Bryceville, FL – November 18 at 8:00 am to November 21 at 8:00 am - Proposed Detour: US301 south to US90 west to CR121 north to CR 119
  • Country Lane (Private) in Bryceville, FL –November 20 at 8:00 am to November 21 at 8:00 am. One way in and out
  • Hambone (Private) in Bryceville, FL – November 10 at 8:00 am to November 11 at 8:00 am -- One way in and out
  • Poder Place (Private) in Bryceville, FL – November 11 at 8:00 am to November 12 at 8:00 am – One way in and out
  • Brooks Road in Bryceville, FL – November 12 at 8:00 am to November 13 at 8:00 pm – One way in and out
  • Crawford Road in Callahan, FL – November 17 at 8:00 am to November 21 at 8:00 pm -- Proposed Detour: US301 to US1 to Brandies Ave/River Rd to CR121 to Crawford Road
  • Sandy Ford Road in Callahan, FL – November 19 at 8:00 am to November 21 at 8:00 pm – This is a one way in/out, no detour available. Please note the expected closing date and times and make the necessary arrangements.
  • Bellamy (Private) in Callahan, FL – November 19 at 8:00 am to November 20 at 8:00 pm – One way in and out
  • Pony Lane (Private) in Callahan, FL – November 20 at 8:00 am to November 21 at 8:00 pm – One way in and out
