Second Annual Vets, Pets & Music Fest Set for November 9th in Fernandina Beach

October 7, 2025 (Fernandina Beach, Fla.) – The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care is proud to announce the much-anticipated Second Annual Vets, Pets & Music Fest, scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Green Turtle Tavern, located at 14 S. 3rd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL.

This one-of-a-kind free community festival brings together music, pets, and heartfelt support for vital programs that enrich the lives of hospice patients and their families. The event shines a spotlight on three meaningful initiatives: Honoring Veterans, which features specialized pinning ceremonies and service branch flags; the Pet Peace of Mind program, which helps patients remain with their beloved pets as long as possible and assists with boarding or adoption when needed; and Professional Music Therapy, delivered by two full-time music therapists offering personalized sessions that bring comfort and meaningful connection to patients and loved ones.

“Vets, Pets & Music Fest is not just a fundraiser, it’s a celebration of connections that matter most,” said Annie Tuttle, Executive Director, The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care. “It honors those who served our country, acknowledges the irreplaceable bond between patients and their pets, and embraces the healing power of music.”

Guests can look forward to live musical performances by local talent, pet-friendly fun for families and their furry companions, and opportunities to learn more about how the Foundation’s programs touch lives every day. The event promises to be a fun day for the community to come together, celebrate, and make a real difference in people’s lives.
