Barnabas Center Calls for Nominations for 5th Annual Hometown Heroes Fashion Show

Fernandina Beach, FL — September 29, 2025 — Barnabas Center is now accepting nominations for its 5th annual Hometown Heroes Fashion Show, to be held on February 23, 2026. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Believers in Our Youth”, will honor everyday champions who dedicate their time and talents to shaping brighter futures for Nassau County’s children and teens.

Barnabas Center invites the community to help identify these unsung heroes—coaches, tutors, educators, mentors, caregivers, advocates, and neighbors—whose quiet dedication makes a lasting difference in the lives of local youth.

“Behind every thriving young person is someone who believes in them,” said Jamie Reynolds, Barnabas Center President and CEO. “Through Hometown Heroes, we shine a spotlight on the extraordinary individuals who often go unnoticed but have a profound impact on our children’s lives and the future of our community.”

Nomination Details: Community members, organizations, and businesses are encouraged to nominate a deserving individual who exemplifies the spirit of a Hometown Hero.

Chosen honorees will be recognized during the Hometown Heroes Fashion Show, a signature fundraising event that celebrates the strength of community, the power of service, and the heart of Nassau County.
