A.I. in Action Workshop to Equip Businesses with Practical A.I. Skills
The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), will host a one-day training session focused on artificial intelligence (AI) for business professionals with little to moderate experience in the field.
The “AI in Action” workshop will take place Wednesday, August 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the FSCJ Betty P. Cook Nassau Center, located at 76346 William Burgess Blvd. in Yulee. The cost is $60 for Chamber members and $200 for nonmembers. Lunch is included, and participants must bring a laptop.
Led by Florida State College at Jacksonville instructors with advanced expertise in AI, machine learning and data-driven technologies, the course will provide practical, hands-on knowledge designed to help professionals use AI tools effectively - no technical background required.
Participants will gain foundational knowledge in the evolution and business applications of AI and machine learning, as well as core technologies such as natural language processing, TensorFlow and Scikit-learn. The course will also cover generative AI tools and how to write effective prompts that boost productivity and creativity. Ethical considerations and best practices for responsible AI use will also be discussed.
The course is ideal for business owners, team leaders, marketing professionals, operations managers and others looking to explore AI tools and concepts that can streamline workflows and enhance competitiveness.
