Florida SBDC Network, Florida APEX Accelerator to Host Reverse Trade Show at Small Business Success Summit

Pensacola, FLA - The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the state’s principal provider of small business assistance, and sister organization the Florida APEX Accelerator will host their annual Reverse Trade Show on August 18 during the 2025 Small Business Success Summit held at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.

The Reverse Trade Show is a unique event that flips the traditional trade show format, providing businesses the opportunity to meet one-on-one with government agencies, innovation hub centers, prime contractors, and support services actively seeking suppliers and subcontractors. Unlike a traditional trade show, buyers from local, state, and federal agencies – as well as prime contractors – will be available to discuss their procurement needs directly with suppliers.

“We are, once again, thrilled to bring the Reverse Trade Show to the Small Business Success Summit, fostering connections between businesses and government agencies,” said Greg Britton, state director of the Florida SBDC Network. “Rather than having businesses track down potential buyers, we are bringing the buyers to them. This event highlights our ongoing commitment to facilitating meaningful partnerships and driving economic impact in our state.”

The fourth annual Small Business Success Summit, hosted by the Florida SBDC Network August 18-19, will bring together small business owners, industry experts, and resource partners for two days of education, networking, and growth opportunities. The Reverse Trade Show, a special event included with registration, will provide attendees direct access to government agencies and prime contractors actively seeking small business suppliers.

A total of 21 vendors are confirmed to participate, including prominent government agencies and prime contractors such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), the Small Business Administration (SBA), FloridaMakes, Florida Department of Management Services - Office of Supplier Development, Defensewerx, SOFWERX, Central Florida Tech Grove, Lockheed Martin, and Athenix Solutions.
