Meet Amber   Amber is alive today because someone donated blood. That selfless act changed the course of her life, and the DeFuniak Springs mother is making the most of her second chance.

Previously terrified of needles, Amber is now a dedicated blood donor herself. She and her whole family donate together whenever they are eligible, and they hope you will too.

Complications after an emergency C-section left Amber with dangerously low blood levels. Doctors at Baptist Hospital Pensacola rushed to stabilize her.
