Tips for a Successful Donation

✔ Drink at least 16 oz. of water before donating

✔ Eat a healthy meal about 2 hours prior

✔ Include iron-rich foods in your diet in the weeks leading up to donation:

Red meat (2–3 meals two weeks prior)
Broccoli, green beans, cabbage
Leafy greens like spinach, kale, and cauliflower leaves

✔ Stay hydrated throughout the day
