Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Event

The next Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Event will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 8am-12pm (or until trucks reach capacity).

Hosted by Keep Nassau Beautiful and Nassau County Solid Waste, this event allows Nassau County residents to safely dispose of items to hazardous for the landfill. Examples include electronics, aerosols, herbicides/pesticides, fluorescent lightbulbs, paint/paint thinners, oil filters, and more. The event will take place at the Nassau County Road Department located at 86200 Gene Lasserre Blvd., Yulee. Motorists will enter the facility from Courtney Isles Way (west from Chester Road).

This event is FREE for Nassau County residents with proof of residency. No commercial loads will be accepted, however small businesses can call ahead for pricing at 352-334-0440.

Last but not least, attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Barnabas Food Pantry.
