Haulover Creek Bridge Rehabilitation Begins on Heckscher Drive (State Road 105)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, October 27th on a project to rehabilitate Haulover Creek Bridge on Heckscher Drive (State Road 105) in Duval County.

M&J Construction Company of Pinellas County, Inc. was awarded the contract to complete this $383,772 project, which includes steel coatings, concrete spall repair, concrete crack repair, and incidental construction.

Drivers can expect construction operations to take place Monday through Saturday. Traffic is being maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No lane closures will be allowed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Completion is expected in mid-2026, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
