Barnabas Center Welcomes Katrina Robinson-Wheeler, LMHC, to Expand Mental Health Services in Nassau County
Fernandina Beach, FL – Barnabas Center is pleased to announce that Katrina Robinson-Wheeler, LMHC, LPC, MCAP, SAP, has joined its Health Services team to provide mental health counseling for Nassau County neighbors in need.
Robinson-Wheeler, a licensed mental health counselor with advanced credentials in addiction counseling and substance abuse programs, recently retired from Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare after 24 years of service as Director of Community Outreach and Education. She brings extensive experience specializing in women’s substance use disorder and trauma treatment, offering a compassionate, client-centered approach to care.

Katrina is a graduate of the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s inaugural Addressing Health Disparities Leadership Program and Leadership Nassau. She was recognized as Professional of the Year by the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association (FADAA) and the Florida Certification Board (FCB) in 2007. Additionally, as a certified mental health first aid instructor, she has provided Mental Health First Aid training to over 5,000 participants throughout Northeast Florida and across the country.
