Lem Turner Road (State Road 115) Resurfacing and Improvements Project Begins

CALLAHAN, Fla. – Construction has begun on a project to resurface Lem Turner Road (State Road 115) from the Duval County line to U.S. 1.
Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. was awarded the contract to complete this $4.4 million project, which includes milling and resurfacing, shoulder treatment, highway signing, guardrail, bridge joints and other incidental construction.
Drivers can expect construction operations to take place between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Traffic is being maintained in accordance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) design standards throughout the project. No lane closures will be allowed from 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Completion is expected in summer 2026, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
