Nassau County Chamber of Commerce Announces Leadership Nassau Class 24 Graduation

Leadership Nassau, a program coordinated by the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce, has announced the graduation of Class 24. This exclusive program assists in the development of community leaders by providing participants from diverse backgrounds with an understanding of the problems, opportunities, and issues facing the community.  

Over the last 10 months, participants heard presentations from various elected officials (including Secretary of State Cord Byrd, Congressman Aaron Bean, and Circuit Judge Stephen Fahlgren, as well as local constitutional officers), business and community leaders (including Heather Bennett of Paisley Grace Makery, Dr. Taylor Clem with the UF County Extension Office, Maurie Dugger with the Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau, Holly Coyle with the Nassau County Board of County Commission, and Carol Saviak with Florida Power & Light Company), and had exclusive access to behind-the-scenes tours of local and regional organizations that are usually closed to the public (including the Crawford Diamond Industrial Park, RYAM, the Jacksonville International Airport, Jacksonville Port Authority, Nassau County Jail, Baptist Medical Center Nassau, and the Jacksonville Transportation Authority).

The Leadership Nassau Class 24 graduates are: Kevin Allen (CKA Investments), Tonya Baudek (Summer House Realty), Steve Chafin (Barnabas Center, Inc.), Katie Connors-Mathew (Nelson & Associates Insurance), Jeanetta A. Dorsey (DORCO Enterprises CPA Firm), Megan Feldman (The Arc Nassau), Jake Harbin (First Port City Bank), Lori Hodell (Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare), Kati Holton (Nassau County Property Appraiser), Chris Lanigan (PrimeSouth Bank), Ryan McCarthy (First Federal Bank), Avis Miller (Coast One Tours LLC), Todd Owens (Baptist Medical Center Nassau), Dori Pasik (RYAM), Marty Pruitt (Nassau County Animal Services), Jason Smith (Fernandina Beach Police Department), Crystal Rimes (City of Fernandina Beach), Brittany Webb (Hot Paws Pet Resort), Valerie Womble (EXIT 1 Stop Realty), Angela Wright (VyStar Credit Union), and Dr. James Zielenski (Coastal Chiropractic Clinic).
