Updated Business Resources and Support Ahead of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season

The 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season officially begins on June 1st and will last through November 30th. With forecasts pointing to another potentially active season, it's more important than ever for Nassau County businesses to prepare thoroughly and early.

To support our local business community, the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce has updated the Hurricane and Disaster Preparedness page on our website with a wide range of new resources. These tools are designed to help business owners and employees prepare for, respond to, and recover from storms throughout the season.

All resources included on the page are collected from trusted external agencies, including Nassau County Emergency Management, the Florida Division of Emergency Management, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, and the National Hurricane Center. While the Chamber has not created these materials, we have brought them together in one centralized location to save businesses time and provide easier access to critical information.

From evacuation guides and storm tracking tools to disaster loan programs and recovery assistance, the page offers direct links to official, up-to-date resources. Whether you're updating a continuity plan or preparing your team for emergency operations, the Hurricane and Disaster Preparedness page is designed to help you act efficiently and effectively.

"This time of year demands proactive planning," said Regina Duncan, President of the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce. "While we can't control the weather, we can control how prepared we are. By gathering these resources in one place, our goal is to help businesses protect their people, property, and livelihoods before the next storm is on the radar."

This page will be continually updated as new data and tools become available. As state and local agencies release new advisories or planning materials, the Chamber will promptly include them to ensure Nassau County businesses have access to the most current and reliable information.

We encourage all members to bookmark the page, review the materials, and share them within your organization.
