Planning Advisory Committee Meeting Regarding Nassau Florida Vision 2050

The County has launched the Nassau Florida Vision 2050 planning process. This process and resulting policies seek to accommodate and manage growth, protect and enhance key areas of importance, help the County to prepare for future planning challenges, and provide the necessary baseline for an update to the County's State-mandated Comprehensive Plan. Thus far, Vision efforts have consisted of community surveys, interviews with Stakeholders, and exercises where residents are asked to identify their top priorities for the next 25 years.

A Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) comprised of representatives from the County's Planning & Zoning Board has been established to evaluate the information collected and use it to develop/recommend changes to the Comprehensive Plan that include input from the collective community.

The Planning Advisory Committee will host a Nassau Florida Vision 2050 Plan meeting on April 30, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. At this meeting, the PAC will discuss:

- Project status;
- Engagement key findings;
- Existing conditions; and
- Next steps.

The meeting will take place at the James S. Page Governmental Complex located at 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, FL.

The public is invited to attend, however please note there will be no public discussion or activities. The discussion will be limited to the PAC members.
