Seniors’ Night Out is Saturday

Just a friendly reminder that the Nassau County Seniors' Night Out is this Saturday, March 9th from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at the Callahan Multi-Purpose Facility and outside courtyard of the Callahan Fairgrounds.

This free event will feature a buffet dinner from Callahan BBQ, dance lessons, live music by “Laid Back” with intermittent dance times with a DJ, door prizes and more. Nassau County Council on Aging will be offering an ongoing shuttle service from the Fairgrounds parking lot to the main entrance of the event.

Below is a timeline for activities taking place during the event:

4:00-5:00 p.m.
Arrival and dance lessons

5:00-6:00 p.m.
Dinner and Bingo
Buffet dinner provided by Callahan BBQ with
- Pulled Pork
- Chicken Nuggets
- Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
- Green Beans
- Mac and Cheese
- Rolls
- Banana Pudding
- Tea/Lemonade/Water

6:00-8:30 p.m.
LIve music by "Laid Back" with intermittent breaks for DJ line dancing

8:30-9:00 p.m.
