Nassau County Parks & Recreation Department to Host Seniors’ Night Out

Nassau County Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce that they will offer a free “Seniors’ Night Out” for people in the community who are 55 and older on Saturday, March 9th from 4-9pm at the Callahan Multi-use Facility and outside courtyard of the Callahan Fairgrounds.

This free event will feature a buffet dinner from Callahan BBQ, dance lessons, live music by “Laid Back” with intermittent dance times with a DJ, door prizes and more. Council on Aging will be offering an ongoing shuttle service from the Fairgrounds parking lot to the main entrance of the event.​

We hope that our seniors will take this opportunity for a fun night of dining, dancing, and socializing!
