All members of the public are invited to join us on Monday, August 8, in the City Hall Commission Chambers (204 Ash Street) for an historic experience.
The City's Youth Advisory Committee (YAC), a group of seven high school students who volunteer their time each month to stay involved in City and community issues, is hosting its first ever Candidate Forum. “We at the Youth Advisory Committee are excited to begin the City’s campaign season with the first ever candidate forum featuring questions written by youth”, says YAC Chair Tytus Boston. Topics being addressed include tourism, outreach, governing, and youth. 5:30-6:30pm will be dedicated to candidates running for Seat 4. 6:45-7:45pm will be dedicated to candidates running for Seat 5. All declared candidates are expected to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
