Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare and Barnabas Center Collaborate to Host Community Health Fair5/15/2023 Fernandina Beach, FL — Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare and Barnabas Center collaborate with 28 other local nonprofit organizations to host a Spring Health Fair on Saturday, May 20, 2023. The free healthcare fair occurs at the Barnabas New to You Resale store parking lot at 463146 SR 200, Yulee, FL from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Spring Health Fair will have many resources for attendees, such as how to access medical care, dental care, mental health, substance abuse disorder services, nutritional information and more. The fair will also have free blood pressure screenings. “Barnabas Center is proud to continue its partnership with Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare. They’ve played a vital role in the lives of many Nassau County residents and will continue to do so. We are excited to host this event to reach more residents so they can learn more about the resources we and other nonprofit organizations in attendance can offer,” said Jamie Reynolds, President/CEO of Barnabas Center. Other nonprofit organizations at the event will include: Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, One More Child, Episcopal Children’s Services, West Nassau Historical Society, Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Micah’s Place, Tobacco Free Nassau, Nassau County Health and Human Services, Coalition for the Homeless of Nassau County and more. Attendees will also be able to meet with Barnabas Center health service providers, a Health Insurance Navigator and tour the Starting Point Behavioral Services mobile health unit. In addition, attendees can enjoy food, activities and giveaways that will take place throughout the day. Admission is free for all, and anyone looking for healthcare information is encouraged to use this opportunity to ask questions or gain valuable resources to receive care.
