Road Re-Naming Ceremony Held in Honor of Steve Kelley

The Board of County Commissioners hosted a Road Renaming Ceremony today, renaming Nassau Center Road to Steve Kelley Way, in honor of former County Commissioner, Steve Kelley. Approximately 65 people were in attendance for the event. Guest speakers included Tax Collector, John Drew; District One Commissioner, John Martin; County Attorney, Mike Mullin; and family friend, Jackie Osborne. Each shared stories about Steve’s generosity and reflected on all of his wonderful qualities, including his great sense of humor. There were a lot of laughs and tears as we joined together to celebrate his legacy.
