Real Estate Company Reaches Out to Community to Save Lives

Next month, Nassau County residents will have an opportunity to make a difference and help those in need by participating in a community blood drive, hosted by Keller Williams Realty, Amelia Island.
On Thursday, March 9th the red bloodmobile will be parked outside of the Shops @ Amelia Market/Harris Teeter Plaza, from 10 am – 2:45 pm. (4800 1st Coast Highway, Amelia Island, Florida).
 
Besides providing an invaluable donation that will be put to good use, all registered donors will receive a “thank you” gift and a Wellness Checkup from OneBlood This will include blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.

One in three people will need donated blood in their lifetime. And blood that is donated today will likely be transfused within two to three days. The turn-around is that fast and the need is constant.
OneBlood is a not-for-profit blood center responsible for providing safe and available blood to more than 250 hospital partners and their patients throughout Florida.
