Nassau County, FL, 5/9/22– Janet H. Adkins, Supervisor of Elections for Nassau County, alerts voters to unofficial vote by mail postcards. Several Nassau County residents have received a handwritten postcard encouraging voters to vote by mail to achieve specific election results favorable to a particular political party. Each postcard contains a handwritten message and the contact information for the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections Office.
These postcards are from a third-party nongovernmental organization and are not affiliated with the Nassau County Elections office. The Nassau County Elections Office has not printed, distributed, nor provided the data used in these mailpieces. "I encourage anyone receiving election-related material to look for the 'Official Election Mail' emblem. This emblem signifies you are receiving election information from a reliable source." states Supervisor Janet Adkins. Voters can check their official vote by mail status by visiting the Elections Office website at www.VoteNassauFL.gov and selecting "Check My Voter & Ballot Status" under the Voters menu.
