Nassau County Council on Aging
Press Release Submitted by Liz Dunn 703-919-5581 August 9, 2021 Due to the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 virus and recent spikes in our area, Nassau County Council on Aging, in partnership with Baptist Health, has decided to postpone the 8th Annual Senior Expo & Health Fair until September 2022. This year’s event was originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 10, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Atlantic Rec Center in Fernandina Beach. “We feel that an abundance of caution is necessary at this time, especially since most of the Expo attendees are seniors,” said Janice Ancrum, NCCOA President & CEO. “We appreciate the understanding of our community, and we’ll be back next year.” If you have any questions, please contact Margo Morlock, Volunteer Manager, at 904-775-5490.
