“Meridian Waste invests in our planet from the daily work provided by our collection teams. They properly dispose of garbage, collect and sort recyclable materials in one of our materials recycling facilities, and through our gas-to-energy partnerships at the company’s landfills,” Hall said. “We also invest in supporting the communities we serve through public education about proper disposal methods. Meridian Waste hopes to ignite a spark of caring for the environment in young people through this contest.” The winning artwork can be viewed at https://www.MeridianWaste.com/Earthday. Meridian Waste will gear up for the next contest in March 2023. The efforts reinforce Meridian Waste’s commitment to supporting the simple joys of coloring while utilizing green efforts as the subject matter of the coloring sheets.
