Megha Parekh to Speak at EmpowHER! Luncheon

The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce announces the next EmpowHER! Luncheon for Monday, August 19, 2019 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, 2800 Bill Melton Road, Fernandina Beach, Florida. 

EmpowHER! is a Professional Women's Network which enhances the personal and professional growth of businesswomen in Nassau County. Luncheons include guided roundtable discussions on trending topics, an inspiring speaker and mentoring and partnership opportunities that will help drive careers. 

This month's guest speaker is Megha Parekh, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Megha works with legal, technology and people development teams at the Jaguars. Her teams are responsible for employee training, support and development; technological systems and support for the office and certain systems in the stadium and at the amphitheater; and all legal matters, including transactions, compliance, disputes, risk management, government relations and insurance. In December 2012 and 2013, Forbes Magazine included Megha in the 30 Under 30 Sports List, which honored the country's top sports athletes and executives under the age of 30 who "represent the entrepreneurial, creative and intellectual best of their generation." More recently, she was selected for Sports Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list in 2018 and has also been named a Woman of Influence in 2014 and Ultimate Attorney in 2016.
