Keep Nassau Beautiful Public Service Announcement - PPE Disposal

Our mission at Keep Nassau Beautiful is to enable and educate people in the reduction of litter and waste, increase in recycling, and beautifying spaces in Nassau County for the benefit of residents, visitors, and wildlife.  During these challenging times, our mission has not changed. 

This brief memo is to make you aware of a new threat facing our environment as a result of COVID-19.  Personal protective equipment (PPE) is littering our state and local environment.  We need your help! 

We ask that you watch our short Public Service Announcement (PSA) video and if you feel it fits with your messaging, help us spread the word.  With this video and your help sharing it on your website, social media sites, and with your contacts, readers or subscribers, we hope to educate residents and visitors to dispose of their PPE properly. 

We hope this message for proper waste disposal will resonate far beyond our local environment.  We can use this video as an opportunity to change behavior and encourage people to take individual responsibility to keep our communities in Nassau County and the State of Florida beautiful.
