$1,000 Start-Ups is an Entrepreneurship, Financial Management and Life Skills program and micro-business incubator offered at no cost to members of the local community with grants of up to $1,000 to those who demonstrate need. By the end of the seven-month program the businesses are registered, launched, and the class has opportunities to get feedback from area small businesses who are invited to display at three small business fairs. 

Please provide 1-2 sentences explaining why you enjoy being an ambassador for the Chamber:
It’s a wonderful opportunity to understand more about the issues affecting Fernandina Beach and Nassau County and how our Chamber and local business interacts with our local government. Being an ambassador also has allowed me to prioritize being part of the local business community and attending more of the informative Chamber programs.
