Join Nassau County Public Works and the UF/IFAS Extension Office for a series of classes on invasive plants. Invasive plants outcompete native plants and animals and are harmful to our natural environment. They have also been found to degrade waterways, harm water quality and limit recreational opportunities. In this class series, you will learn more about invasive plants including how to treat them naturally, ways to reduce spread, and how to identify invasive species. There is no cost to participate in any of the classes. See flyer for complete schedule. All will be held at the American Beach Community Center located at 1600 Julia Street.
