Home-Based Business Focus Group

Over half of the newly registered businesses in Nassau County during October 2022 have indicated that they are a home-based or remote business. 

In December, the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce will conduct a focus group for those running businesses out of their homes. Participants will be asked to discuss topics such as how the Chamber can address the specific needs of this growing demographic. The results of the focus group will provide valuable information for creating programming and partnerships that enable home-based businesses to thrive. 

Participants will be asked to pay special attention to the Chamber's role in providing helpful resources, marketing tools, and networking opportunities to home-based business owners. This meeting will also have an emphasis on referrals, practical business ideas and camaraderie for and between home-based business owners.
