3/17/21 @ 8:25 a.m. - In January 2017, the Board of County Commissioners dedicated forty (40) acres of County-owned property for a future Public Safety Training Center for the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. Long term plans for the Public Safety Training Center include a training room, classrooms, a SWAT obstacle course, a pistol range, a K-9 training area, and simulated training area.
On Monday, March 22, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., the Board will host a Groundbreaking Ceremony in celebration of Phase One of the project which will commence within the next few weeks. The event will be held at the future site located at 153322 County Road 108, Yulee, FL 32097.
