The Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library (FOL) announce the receipt of a $1,500 mini grant from Rayonier Advanced Materials. This grant will allow the purchase of 50 new non-fiction documentary DVDs for the public to enjoy.
The Fernandina Beach Branch Library currently has over 2500 DVDs available to the public, but only a limited number are non-fiction. The grant funds from Rayonier are greatly appreciated and needed, and will provide approximately 50 new non-fiction documentaries to be purchased. The new DVDs will focus on biography, travel, art, culture and science and will be available in October at the library. “The FOL is grateful to Rayonier for allowing us to support the community at this unsettling time,” said FOL Board President Jody Mackle. “We encourage local residents to take advantage of these wonderful new documentaries this fall.” For further information of the Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library as well as membership information and volunteer opportunities, please visit www.fernandinaFOL.org.
