Fernandina Beach, FL (April 23, 2021) – The Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library (FOL) presented their annual gift of $25,000 to Nassau County Library Director Dawn Bostwick at the annual meeting of the FOL on February 25, 2021. “We are pleased to be able to make this gift to the Fernandina Beach Library,” said FOL President Jody Mackle. “It is made possible by the generosity of local patrons and book lovers throughout our community.” The annual gift will be used for a variety of books and materials that will support literacy and life-long learning for members of the Fernandina Beach community. “We will be using the funds to purchase ebooks and audiobooks with cloud Library, digital media with Hoopla, print newspapers and magazines, ALE (Ancestry Library Edition), small equipment and other books,” said Bostwick. “It is amazing that in these challenging times the Friends of the Library can offer such a generous gift again. I am so grateful to the Friends and their dedication to the Library. We would not be able to offer these additional items without their help.” For further details on the Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library as well as membership information and volunteer opportunities, please visit www.fernandinaFOL.org. ![]() Photo caption: Front row: FOL President Jody Mackle presents the annual FOL gift to Nassau County Library Director Dawn Bostwick.
