FERNANDINA BEACH, FL (November 11, 2022) – For the 8th year in a row, Charity Navigator has recognized Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation with its Four-Star Rating.
Charity Navigator, launched in 2001, is a leading nonprofit assessment organization that evaluates charitable organizations in the United States. Its stated mission is “to make impactful giving easier for all.” They rate over 200,000 charities annually and help to highlight the cost-effectiveness and overall health of a charity’s programs, stability, efficiency, and sustainability. In addition to the top four-star rating and “give with confidence” seal, Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation is among the select few organizations to achieve a perfect 100-percent rating for both Accountability & Finance as well as Leadership & Adaptability. These scores are based on the independent analysis of a charity’s financial accountability, transparency, and how the funds it receives are used. Our administrative and fundraising costs are lean, which means donations to the Foundation directly support the outstanding programs offered to our members at three local Clubs here in Nassau County.
