Advisory Meeting for Agriculture and Natural Resources

4/20/23 @ 10:00 a.m. - Please join Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, David Hebert, for an advisory meeting to discuss pertinent environmental issues and exchange perspectives on urban and private enterprise growth in the County. This meeting is a place to gather resources, reports, and updates on our county's environmental quality including water, air, and others. This meeting is also the place to exchange ideas and gather resources in agriculture including: 

• reports on commodity prices in forage, livestock, timber, grain, produce, etc.
• economic-level and threatening insect pests and crop diseases and climate outlook for the season
• field-to-fork marketing, networking, community supported agriculture, and farmers markets

The program will take place on Thursday, June 15th from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the Bryceville Community Center located at 7280 Motes Road, Bryceville, FL 32009. Please note that this program is intended for adult residents of Nassau County and is free to participate in. Please bring one small dish for the potluck and a fellow resident friend or family member. UF/IFAS Extension will be grilling burgers and hot dogs so come hungry!
