Sponsored in large part by the Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce, the goal of the Vision 2032 initiative is to create a blueprint for what Nassau County residents want the county to look like in the future.

After more than a year of work, including eight public input meetings, the draft plan is now available.

Reality Check First Coast

Reality Check First Coast on May 21, 2009, was a visioning exercise to discuss, analyze and develop alternative growth scenarios for the Northeast Florida region through the year 2060.

The event brought nearly 300 leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors together in groups of eight to 10 to discuss, analyze and develop alternative growth scenarios to handle the estimated additional 1.6 million people expected to live in the region by 2060.
